HANOI – NINH BINH – PHONG NHA 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
DAY 1: HANOI – NINH BINH – PHONG NHA (Lunch)
07.30 – 08.30 Get picked up by our tour guide and car then depart for Ninh Binh province (120 km south of Hanoi). Have a break 20 minutes half way to relax and experience Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquer wares, paintings, embroideries…
10.30 Arrive at Mua Cave, the most beautiful place to view in Ninh Binh, where can see the city far from the standing in front of Tam Coc in back and the limestone mountain along to the south of Vietnam.
11.30 Go back to the car and drive to Tam Coc.
CYCLING RIDE (optional): Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a 40 minute cycling ride along country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time 40 minutes for 5km cycling 2 ways), experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields. Finish the cycling ride at Tam Coc dock in time for a buffet lunch in restaurant.
14.00 Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” to get a strange feeling. Boat returns to the dock and free until when the bus pick up for Phong Nha at 19.30PM. Overnight on the bus.
04.00AM. Arrive in Phong Nha. Check in hostel and take a rest.
DAY 2: PHONG NHA CAVE and TREKKING in BOTANICAL GARDEN (B/ L/ D)
Phong Nha Cave is not only a natural legacy of the world or a wonder of the country Vietnam, but also a relic system of the historic street Ho Chi Minh which collaborates with Xuan Son Ferry in order to create a route supporting for the battleground of the South Vietnam during US War. Today, this place has become the first section of Ho Chi Minh trails. Therefore, coming to Phong Nha means you are visiting this legendary trails.
08.00 – Breakfast
09.00 – 09.15: Bus and tour guide will pick up at your hotel, you will explore the most impressive Phong Nha Caves. After 25 minutes on boat, visitors will arrive Phong Nha Cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave, is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.
12.30: Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha.
13.30 – 17.00: Bus and tour guide pick you up to Botanical Garden: The wildlife Rescue Center: See the wildlife animals of PHONG NHA – KE BANG National Park. The Botanical Garden see the collection of hundreds types of tree; Trek & Hike through the jung of both and rehabilitated environments; Swimming at refreshing stream. The Semi wild enclosure for Primates (Primate Reserve): Searccch and watch the elusive Ha Tinh Langur, andemic primate specie of the National Park here.
17.30: Arrival Phong Nha and free time discovery Phong Nha.
19.30: Have Diner in Phong Nha restaurant.
DAY 3: DARK CAVE AND PARADISE CAVE (B/ L)
Dark Cave is amazing and the true experience, kayaking over the river to get there, walking through the dark with only the head touch on your mining helmet, having a mud fight in the mud baths deep in the cave and then washing clean with a swim in the lake inside the cave.
Activities: Muddy bath, zip lining, swimming, kayaking, soft caving and jungle walking.
Maybe its the unfathomable amount of time, maybe it’s the natural process of erosion and the complete absence of human intervention. Maybe it’s that caves are only starting to be discovered on a planet where humans have existed for thousands of years. Walking through, or swimming through, all of the caves in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park is definitely highlight of Vietnam.
08.00 – Breakfast
09.00 – 09.15: Bus and tour guide will pick up at your hotel, you will explore Dark Cave. Dark Cave is really amazing where you can experience many adventure activitiessuch as Zipline, mud bathing, kayaking on Chayriver and swimming.
12.30: Lunch at Dark Cave restaurant.
13.00: Visit Paradise Cave – the Cave was labeled the World’s most beautiful and magnificent. It has the length of 31,4 kms and is the longest dry cave in Asia. With naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors.
17.00 – 17.30: Back to hostel. Tour ends
